Random Musings over manufactured Rhymes!
Random Musings over manufactured Rhymes!
The Lost Me |
No doubt, figures of speech and a well-organized ratio of words and lines spark the writings. All thanks to the learned poets and writers who bestowed this beauty on us.
But lately, as an adult, I feel a particular bias for these literary practices. I may be completely wrong, you may agree or disagree, but I think they are manufactured.
Let me explain my point. You cannot limit imagination within set boundaries of few systematically arranged lines or forced rhymes. To stick by the rule puts a certain pressure and gags poetic freedom.
Imagination is all quirky and random. That’s the inherent beauty in it. It can’t be confined, and the best results come when you set it loose. Let it wander, overcome the limits of structure, away from that manufactured beauty, all painted in cheesiness.
I prefer random writings now, some random real musings of heart. Some real spontaneous feelings which need no makeover, no masking, no second thought, just a paper, and pen & you inside out!
And yes, it doesn’t mean you shun rhymes. No, I never said it. They are welcome when free-spirited when you genuinely pour your heart and soul out to create a literary marvel.
Maybe I have turned impatient now, can’t wait for the right word and rhyme it. Whatever be the case, it will always be the writer who decides what to do with his (or her) work!
Take care of your thoughts, and your writings will take care of you!
What do you think?
