Unleash the Beast within you!
I believe Writing is the easiest way to unlock your feelings, even the darkest ones.
The joy one feels in Writing is similar to have a deep conversation with a close pal.

Withered! P.C. The Lost Me Have you seen something broken yet containing a sense of completeness? I think these fallen leaves lying on the bosom of Earth exemplify it. Withered, they say, but for me, they are coloured with perfection and aged gracefully. All thanks to experiences and tough times, they have ripened with seasons. Just for thought. Do these leaves envy the new beginning, or do they shower their seasons' old wisdom to the new fellas? To the ones who have just come out of their cradles and are unaware of their destiny! I feel, they pour out their heart and the music of their past to the curious little ones. With smiling eyes, they tell the stories of the enchanting spring when they lived in full bloom, their camaraderie with the buds, the flowers, the twigs and with the birds. They proudly show the permanent scars they got in the scorching summer, and how they danced heartfully to the rhythm of the rains. With a heavy heart, they mention the racing aut...
Random Musings over manufactured Rhymes! The Lost Me Ever since my school days, I had a yearning for poems that rhymed well. I, too, wrote some and made sure they were rhyming. This inclination could be because- from our nursery rhymes to our high school days, more or less, we saw the same pattern. Yeah, I also read prose, but that urge to rhyme lines somehow prevailed. No doubt, figures of speech and a well-organized ratio of words and lines spark the writings. All thanks to the learned poets and writers who bestowed this beauty on us. But lately, as an adult, I feel a particular bias for these literary practices. I may be completely wrong, you may agree or disagree, but I think they are manufactured. Let me explain my point. You cannot limit imagination within set boundaries of few systematically arranged lines or forced rhymes. To stick by the rule puts a certain pressure and gags poetic freedom. Imagination is all quirky and random. That’s the inherent beauty i...
The Lost Me (๐ The story is fiction inspired by some true incidents.) Some relations in our lives exist unnamed. We don't talk about those people, hardly hear about them. Still, they hold a special place in our memories. We were classmates since childhood, but all was not good between us. Being first, and second place holders in class, we had a natural ego conflict and competition. I liked him for many years. Years.. don't know where to count from, but I knew he didn't have ever thought about me. I last remember that we were in class 4th, and I was dying to sit next to him. However, in all those years and after too, the teachers never made our seating arrangement together. He was often too rude, and so was I. Attitude problem! He hated me for being the first place holder (at least I thought it that time ๐), and I saw him secretly through my books, during recess, at the playground, assembly hall, everywhere my eyes followed him. My ...
Magnetic effect of Nainital! Nainital (as seen from my hostel) Every morning when my eyes open I jump to the window; open it, feel the naive air, hold my coffee mug and rush downstairs towards the hostel mess to take tea. It is a cup meant for coffee but we are given tea here. "Good Morning Daaju, fill the cup full", - I say, He pours the tea, I holding it in my hands walk out to enjoy the scenic beauty of Nainital ! Sipping the tea, sitting on the parafeet of the K.P. Govt. Girls hostel, I enjoy the pleasant morning. The vast Taal (Naini taal) in front of me isn't still. Though it has no boats right now, I can see the crawling waves, increasing, decreasing spirals, and colliding small ones. The cool morning with a beautiful sunrise! The sun peeping through the clouds showering its rays on me. The first ray of light; touches me, gives a scintillation , My eyes awestruck open wide, I feel how lucky I am to be here! ...
